Director Jang Hang-jun Appointed as Executive Chairman of Jecheon International Music & Film Festival
"I Will Create a Festival Loved by Audiences"
The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival announced on the 21st that director Jang Hang-jun has been appointed as the new executive chairman. His term will be from the 5th of next month until April 4, 2027, lasting two years.
Director Jang has directed films such as "Turn On the Lighter (2002)," "Forgotten Night (2017)," and "Rebound (2023)." The festival stated, "He is a director who possesses both outstanding directing skills and popular appeal," adding, "He will faithfully perform the festival's original functions and further strengthen the value of communication between film and music."
Director Jang expressed, "I will do my best to further develop the unique charm of the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival and make it a festival loved by audiences both domestically and internationally." This year's Jecheon International Music & Film Festival will be held from September 4 to 9 throughout Jecheon City.
