Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to Establish Integrated Logistics Center at Key Southern Vietnam Logistics Hub
Nhon Trach 6 Industrial Park in Dong Nai Province, Vietnam
A Site Covering an Area Equivalent to 7.7 Soccer Fields
A complex logistics center of our company will be established in Dong Nai Province, the logistics hub of southern Vietnam.
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries announced on the 20th that the construction of the complex logistics center has begun on the site of Nhon Trach Industrial Park 6 in Dong Nai Province, Vietnam.
The complex logistics center under construction covers a site area of 55,553㎡ (16,804 pyeong, equivalent to 7.7 soccer fields) and a total floor area of 26,168㎡ (7,916 pyeong, equivalent to 3.6 soccer fields). It consists of two logistics center buildings (one ambient temperature logistics center and one cold storage logistics center) and is scheduled to begin full operation from May next year.
This project is supported by the Korea Ocean Business Corporation’s ‘Global Logistics Supply Chain Fund’ to assist Lotte Global Logistics in establishing a joint logistics center in Vietnam.
The Nhon Trach Industrial Park in Dong Nai Province, where the logistics center will be located, is the logistics hub of southern Vietnam, adjacent to major markets such as Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang, and connected to key transportation networks including Cat Lai Port, Cai Mep Port, and Long Thanh International Airport. In particular, the Nhon Trach Industrial Park houses many large and small Korean shippers, so upon completion, the logistics center is expected to serve as a foothold for Korean import and export companies entering the Vietnamese market.
