Chungnam Office of Education Holds Training Session to Strengthen Character and Life Education Competencies of Elementary, Middle, and High School Teachers
On the afternoon of the 20th, the Chungnam Office of Education held a capacity-building learning session for those in charge of character and life education at the Provincial Office of Education Science Education Center.
View original imageThe Chungnam Provincial Office of Education held the '2025 School Year Character and Life Education Staff Capacity Building Workshop' at the Science Education Center auditorium on the afternoon of the 20th, targeting over 750 elementary, middle, and high school teachers in the province.
The event covered topics such as the roles of teachers in charge of character and life education, the establishment and revision of school life regulations, overall operation of the School Life Education Committee, sharing of best practices in student gambling prevention education, guidance on major projects in democratic citizenship education, and an introduction to the advancement of the Chungnam Student Guardian App.
Following this workshop, the Provincial Office of Education plans to actively promote the internalization of practice-based character education involving schools, families, and society, as well as relationship-centered life education that respects diversity and enhances citizenship.
Additionally, the office will actively support all students in the province to enjoy a happy school life through customized educational activities for school violence prevention and the revitalization of regional life guidance standing committees.
Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol emphasized, "We will provide thorough support so that students can continuously develop the ability to understand others, form and restore relationships at school, and grow into democratic citizens equipped with leadership and collaboration skills to lead future society."
