Democratic Party: "Constitutional Court Impeaches Han Before Yoon, Causing Public Anxiety... Deep Regret"
The Democratic Party of Korea expressed 'regret' over the Constitutional Court's decision to deliver the impeachment ruling on Prime Minister Han Deok-su before President Yoon Seok-yeol. They also urged the court to expedite the scheduling of the impeachment ruling date for President Yoon.
On the 20th, Cho Seung-rae, the Democratic Party's chief spokesperson, stated in a written briefing that the Constitutional Court's decision to set the ruling date for Prime Minister Han's impeachment case on the 24th, ahead of President Yoon's impeachment case, was "a decision by the Constitutional Court that unsettles the public" and expressed "deep regret."

Spokesperson Cho pointed out, "The Constitutional Court had followed the principle of first-in, first-out up to Minister of Justice Park Sung-jae, so why are they breaking this principle and deciding to rule on Han Deok-su before Yoon Seok-yeol?"
He added, "Isn't this why public suspicion is growing that the Constitutional Court is failing to uphold principles and is being swayed by political claims?"

He also urged the court to promptly set the ruling date for President Yoon.
