Seongnam City to Recruit New Affordable Price Businesses Until August
Recruiting ‘Good Price Businesses’
to Stabilize Local Prices with
Affordable Prices and Excellent Services
Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Shin Sang-jin) announced on the 20th that it is recruiting ‘Good Price Businesses’ that contribute to price stabilization by offering affordable prices and excellent services to citizens struggling with continuous price increases.
Good Price Businesses refer to stores operating personal service industries such as food service, hairdressing, and beauty, where the price of the main item does not exceed the average price in the areas of Sujeong, Jungwon, and Bundang. However, franchise businesses are excluded, and Seongnam City designates Good Price Businesses twice a year based on a review process.
Applications are accepted until August 14, and businesses wishing to apply can visit the Seongnam City Hall Regional Economy Division in person or submit their applications via email, mail, or fax.
Businesses designated as Good Price Businesses will receive a certification plaque and customized incentives such as support for necessary supplies and small-scale facility improvements for business operations.

A Seongnam City official stated, “We plan to actively discover Good Price Businesses that contribute to stabilizing local prices,” and added, “We hope many local businesses will participate in this recruitment.”
