A city official explained the background of the project, stating, "The project site had dense vegetation obstructing the riverside view, and the lack of security lights made visibility poor, raising concerns about crime and prompting complaints."
The city plans to trim shrubs and branches that block visibility and install security lights in sections lacking lighting or requiring additional illumination. The construction will prioritize elements ensuring citizen safety, followed by repaving the embankment ridge and planting trees to improve the environment within the stream embankment.
