Suwon City Sends 'Delinquency Notices' via Mobile Messenger
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will send delinquency notices using a ‘mobile electronic notification system’.
On the 17th, Suwon City announced that it plans to send electronic delinquency notices in document form by December to approximately 160,000 local tax and non-tax revenue delinquents.
Delinquents can easily check the notice on their smartphones after verifying their identity.
The mobile electronic notification service can be easily received by anyone with a smartphone without a separate application. Notices are accurately delivered even if the actual residence and the registered address differ. Notices to corporations and foreigners will be sent by mail.
