Dongseo University and Busan International Performing Arts Festival Sign MOU for Advancement of Busan Culture and Arts
Dongseo University (President: Jang Je-guk) and the Busan International Performing Arts Festival (Executive Director: Son Byungtae) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at 3:10 PM on the 11th floor Global Room of the New Millennium Hall on June 12, aiming for successful cooperation in the development of Busan's culture and arts.

View original imageThe event was attended by Jang Je-guk, President of Dongseo University, Kim Dae-seung, Dean of the Im Kwon-taek College of Film and Arts, Oh Se-jun, Dean of Academic Affairs, Yoon Tae-sik, Professor, Son Byungtae, Executive Director of the Busan International Performing Arts Festival, and Kim Byung-chul, Secretary General, among other key officials.
Through this agreement, both institutions plan to: ▲ strengthen educational and program capabilities ▲ foster specialized talent and promote cultural and artistic enjoyment through collaboration between Dongseo University's infrastructure and the Busan International Performing Arts Festival's international competencies ▲ promote regional cultural and artistic activities and activate international exchange in the field of cultural content.
Jang Je-guk, President of Dongseo University, stated, "Dongseo University, dedicated to nurturing glocal talents, and the Busan International Performing Arts Festival will spare no effort in supporting the growth of this festival into a world-class glocal event that represents not only Busan but also the global stage."
Son Byungtae, Executive Director of the Busan International Performing Arts Festival, said, "The signing of this MOU between Dongseo University and the Busan International Performing Arts Festival will strengthen Busan's performing arts capabilities, provide Dongseo University students with opportunities to expand globally in their fields, and serve as a catalyst for Busan to emerge as a global cultural city."
