Busan Institute, a comprehensive policy think platform in Busan led by President Shin Hyunseok, will officially participate in the Global Talent Development Program for capacity building of long-term trainees from Busan City starting from the 12th.
The Global Talent Development Program is operated to maximize excellence in training professional administrators. On this day, after a welcoming speech by Shin Hyunseok, President of Busan Institute, Jang Hayong, Director of Future Strategy, gave a special lecture on the topic of "Logistics Corridor Construction Strategy for Busan as a Global Hub City," marking the beginning of the training.
Among the Global Talent Development Program, Busan Institute is participating in two educational programs: "Exploring Global Cities You Would Want to Live in Even If Born Again" and "Problem-Solving Project Class."
"Exploring Global Cities You Would Want to Live in Even If Born Again" runs from March to October and provides specialized lectures on key policy issues in Busan (six major fields, 15 topics). In addition, the "Technology-Based Problem-Solving Project Class" is also held from March to October, where participants practice discovering, analyzing, and finding solutions to local issues such as revitalizing idle spaces.
Busan Institute supports trainees' learning by uploading the training schedule and lecture materials to the institute's website to enhance accessibility to educational resources.
