Korea Investment & Securities Hosts Bankis University Student Mock Investment Competition
Korea Investment & Securities announced on the 12th that it will hold the '11th BanKIS University Student Stock Investment Competition.'
The competition will be held over four weeks from the 24th of this month to April 18th, where participants compete based on their cumulative stock investment returns. It is divided into domestic stock and overseas stock leagues, and participants can join individually or as teams of 3 to 10 members. A total prize of 20.6 million KRW will be distributed among the top 10 individuals and 6 teams with outstanding performance in each league.
In particular, individual participants who rank within the top 5 in cumulative returns will receive a benefit of exemption from the document screening stage once when applying for a position at Korea Investment & Securities branches for the next two years. Those applying for recruitment-linked internships will also be exempted from the aptitude test.
Applications are open until April 6th, and any university or graduate student holding a BanKIS account can participate. All participants who complete at least one stock trade during the competition will receive a coffee coupon. Additionally, prizes will be awarded through events such as attendance checks, weekly random quizzes, and mission-based inter-school competitions.
