Daegu Catholic University Team Leader Chae Chang-kwon Receives Individual Award at 'Korea Library Awards'
Expansion of Future-Oriented Libraries
and Establishment of an Integrated Academic Information System
Chae Chang-kwon, Head of the Academic Information Support Team at Daegu Catholic University Central Library, received the '57th Korea Library Award' individual award at the 76th Annual General Meeting of the Korean Library Association held at the National Assembly Library Auditorium on February 27.
Team Leader Chae has served as Secretary General and Director of the Korean Association of Private University Libraries, a member of the Korean University Library Association, and an evaluator for other institutions, building governance for the development of university libraries.
He was also recognized for his contributions to the development of libraries through the expansion of future-oriented libraries and the establishment of an integrated academic information system.
Team Leader Chae Chang-kwon said, "I am honored to receive the Korea Library Award thanks to the passion and dedication of the library members," adding, "We will do our best to ensure that the library actively responds to changes in the university library environment and becomes a place where users want to visit and stay."
