Listening to Small Business Owners' Voices on Good Prepayment Visits
Miryang City in Gyeongnam Province conducted a promotional campaign for the ‘Miryang-style Good Prepayment’ with the participation of more than 20 heads of local institutions and organizations, including the Miryang branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation and the Miryang Forestry Cooperative.
The campaign, held on the 19th, involved Mayor An Byeong-gu personally visiting stores run by small business owners to make prepayments and listen to their voices on site. It was promoted to encourage active participation in the ‘Miryang-style Good Prepayment,’ which has been implemented since this month, by local institutions, organizations, and companies.
Miryang City has set a prepayment target of 651 million KRW, which is 35% of the total budget for business promotion expenses and meal allowances, to be achieved by the end of March. The city also actively requested participation from the Miryang City Council, Miryang’s invested and funded institutions, local institutions, organizations, and companies.
To achieve practical effects from the Good Prepayment initiative, various promotional activities will continue to be carried out, and the period will be extended depending on the effectiveness of the prepayment campaign.
Mayor An Byeong-gu said, “I hope the Good Prepayment project will be a small support to small business owners. I hope many local institutions, organizations, and companies will join the prepayment to cheer on small business owners.”
