Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk, is holding a special hometown love donation event to celebrate the Uiseong-gun Office men's curling team winning the silver medal at the Harbin Winter Asian Games.
Uiseong-gun announced on the 18th that the hometown love donation event started on the 15th. It will run for 23 days until March 9. If you donate 100,000 KRW or more to Uiseong-gun through Hometown Love e-um or nationwide NH Nonghyup and apply for a thank-you gift, you will be automatically entered.
Among the donors, 30 people will be selected by lottery to receive an additional gift of 'Uiseong Garlic Dakgalbi' worth about 30,000 KRW. Winners will be notified individually after March 10.
Kim Jusu, the mayor of Uiseong-gun, said, "This event was prepared to commemorate the curling team that won a valuable silver medal at the Harbin Winter Asian Games and to raise interest in the hometown love donation system. We ask for lots of support for the Uiseong curling representative team and the hometown love donation system."
