KT Launches 'Pet Sangjo' Partnership Product for Pet Owner Households
From Insurance to Funeral: Life Cycle Service
Available on PASS App... AI-Based Health Management to Be Expanded
KT announced on the 10th that it has launched a pet funeral service product called 'Uri Pet Sangjo,' which combines health-related services such as dog bite liability insurance and gut microbiome testing.
Uri Pet Sangjo is a differentiated service that supports pet owners until the final moments of their pets, going beyond the coverage of existing pet insurance, in partnership with the pet funeral specialist company ‘Uri Minds.’ Funeral services are provided at eight funeral facilities nationwide, including 'Popoz,' the pet funeral hall with the most branches in Korea.
This service consists of three types: ▲ Uri Pet Sangjo Light (KRW 19,800/month for 24 months) ▲ Uri Pet Sangjo Basic (KRW 22,000/month for 36 months) ▲ Uri Pet Sangjo Lifetime (KRW 22,000/month for 36 months). To reduce the financial burden on owners, a payment installment option has been introduced, and it supports pet health management by including dog bite liability insurance and gut microbiome testing for dogs (limited to the Basic product).
In particular, KT enhanced convenience by allowing owners to easily subscribe and use the service anytime through the ‘Petkung’ menu in the PASS app and KT’s ‘Akkyeodeurim’ service.
