View original imageGwangju Transportation Corporation (President Cho Ikmun) announced on the 23rd that it held a promotional campaign for "Daejabo (Public Transportation, Bicycle, Walking) Practice" in front of its headquarters in Mareuk-dong, Seo-gu, on the 22nd to mark "Gwangju City Public Transportation Day" (the fourth Wednesday of every month).
On this day, starting with President Cho Ikmun's "Daejabo Commuting Challenge," the corporation plans to actively participate in transforming Gwangju into a Daejabo city by spreading a culture of using public transportation for commuting among all executives and employees throughout the year.
In addition, the corporation is conducting various activities for carbon neutrality and the transition to a Daejabo city, including ▲participating in the odd-even vehicle operation system for public institutions to reduce fine dust ▲discovering and promoting policies to increase transportation demand ▲operating customer events to vitalize public transportation.
President Cho Ikmun said, "We ask for the interest and active participation of citizens in transforming into a Daejabo city," and added, "We will continue to do our best to make Gwangju a city where public transportation is convenient."
