Kwangju Bank Hosts 'Gwangun Leaders Club' Sharing Event for Lunar New Year

Gwangju Bank (President Ko Byungil) announced on the 22nd that it held a Sharing Love event to celebrate the Lunar New Year by visiting welfare organizations located in Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, together with members of the Gwang-eun Leaders Club (Chairman Park Cheolhong), a group of outstanding local SME CEOs.
This event took place at the Dolsan Regional Children's Center and the Bomun Welfare Foundation Maniwon, both located in Yeosu. Gwangju Bank and members of the Gwang-eun Leaders Club delivered daily necessities, other essential items, and sponsorship funds to each facility.
The Gwang-eun Leaders Club is a gathering of outstanding local SME CEOs in partnership with Gwangju Bank. It was established in 2007 and currently has more than 250 members.
Every year, not only during Lunar New Year and Chuseok but also whenever help is needed, the club consistently leads various sharing activities by supporting local welfare facilities and sponsoring the Gwangju-Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, setting an example for the development of the local community.
Park Cheolhong, Central Chairman of the Gwang-eun Leaders Club, stated, "As the leading CEO group in our region, the Gwang-eun Leaders Club is committed to the development of the local community by taking the lead in continuous social contribution activities and job creation. We will do our best to practice warm sharing with our underprivileged neighbors, actively address local issues, and work together with local residents for the advancement of our community."
