Employees from BPA and the Busan Port Facilities Management Center participated together in this volunteer activity, adding more meaning to community sharing.

The items distributed at the event were 2,960 kg of rice donated by the KNN Nexen Wolseok Cultural Foundation to the first branch of BPA Hope Storage, and volunteers personally visited 140 households to deliver the items.

By visiting elderly people living alone and providing holiday supplies, the event helped alleviate feelings of isolation and loneliness ahead of the holiday and conveyed emotional stability.

Ahead of the 2025 Lunar New Year, BPA supported 16 branches of BPA Hope Storage, 12 welfare centers near the port, and 15 sponsored children with seasoning sets, rice cake soup sets, beef, and other items.

Kang Jun-seok, President of BPA, said, “We hope that many donations and acts of sharing will continue in the local community, including BPA Hope Storage,” and added, “The members of Busan Port, including Busan Port Authority and Busan Port Facilities Management Center, will continue to work together to contribute to the stability of the lives of residents near the port.”
