Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy Holds Briefing on US Import Regulations by Industry
Relay Briefings for the First Half of the Year
for Non-Ferrous Metals Industry and Others
in Preparation for the Launch of Trump’s Second Term
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced on the 22nd that it will hold an 'Industry-specific U.S. Import Regulation System Briefing' at the Crescendo Building in Seoul, following the inauguration of the second term of the Donald Trump administration.
The U.S. import regulation system briefing was planned for industries with limited experience in responding to import regulations such as anti-dumping and countervailing duties. The briefing will mainly be attended by the non-ferrous metals industry and others.
The government, in cooperation with law firms that have responded to U.S. import regulation investigations, will provide information on the overall U.S. import regulation system, including the U.S. dumping margin calculation methods and investigation techniques, and will guide response measures in case of emergencies.
