Incheon Yeonsu-gu Launches Nighttime Themed Street and Landscape Projects with 900 Million KRW Investment
Yeonsu-gu, Incheon announced on the 21st that it will invest approximately 900 million KRW in various landscape projects this year.
The main projects include creating a night-themed street in Yeonsu-dong, improving the signage of Dongnam Apartment shopping area, and maintaining landscape (sculptural) facilities to enhance the city's appearance and provide residents with a better living environment.
First, with a total budget of 400 million KRW, the Yeonsu-dong night-themed street project will improve the landscape and provide a safe nighttime street environment by installing security CCTV, replacing sidewalk blocks, and installing landscape lighting in the Meokja Alley area of Yeonsu-dong.
Additionally, as it was selected for Incheon City's 2025 "Beautiful Signage Street Creation Project," a total budget of 400 million KRW will be used to replace the aging signs of the Dongnam Apartment shopping area (943 Dongchun-dong) and improve the appearance to revitalize the commercial district.
Furthermore, the district will invest about 80 million KRW to maintain safety and improve the appearance of existing landscape facilities (27 locations) and public sculptures (40 locations).

A Yeonsu-gu official stated, "We will strive to raise the district's dignity and create a beautiful Yeonsu-gu that residents can feel by establishing a safe daily environment."
