Ulju-gun to Provide Care Activity Allowance for Long-term Care Workers Starting This Year
Monthly Allowance of 50,000 KRW Provided to Eligible Long-Term Care Workers
Ulsan City’s Ulju-gun will provide a monthly care activity allowance of 50,000 KRW to long-term care workers starting this year.
This support was initiated to encourage long-term employment of long-term care workers, thereby enhancing the stability of institution operations, boosting employee morale, and improving the quality of care services.
The allowance is targeted at long-term care workers who have been employed at the same long-term care institution in Ulju-gun for more than three years.
Workers who have worked at least 120 hours per month at elderly care facilities or elderly care group homes, or at least 60 hours per month in home care or home bathing services, are eligible to receive the allowance.
Applications for the allowance must be submitted by the 10th of each month to the Elderly and Disabled Division of Ulju-gun Office, along with the care activity allowance application form, employment insurance qualification history, or long-term service incentive claim statement, and attendance records. Ulju-gun plans to verify the eligibility of applicants before providing the care activity allowance.
