280 Boxes of Apples Delivered to Low-Income Vulnerable Households in Dongdaemun-gu
Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Ilpyeong Lee) announced on the 20th that the "Lunar New Year Traditional Market Love Sharing Event with KB Kookmin Bank" was held in the 3rd-floor meeting room of the Cheongnyangni Traditional Market Merchants' Association.
Attendees at the event included Ilpyeong Lee, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, Sunhyun Park, Vice President of KB Kookmin Bank's Gangbuk Regional Sales Group, Youngrok Hwang, Head of the Cheongnyangni Regional Headquarters, Sangwon Ko, Branch Manager of Dongdaemun-gu Office Branch along with four other branch managers, Heejin Park, Head of Hope Friends Korea Food for the Hungry International, and Wanhee Yoo, President of the Cheongnyangni General Market Merchants' Association, among others.
This event, sponsored by KB Kookmin Bank, marked its sixth occurrence since it began during Chuseok 2022. Hope Friends Korea Food for the Hungry International organized the event, collaborating with the Cheongnyangni General Market Merchants' Association, with the three organizations coming together to help vulnerable groups enjoy a prosperous holiday.
The apples prepared by the Cheongnyangni General Market Merchants' Association will be delivered on the 22nd to 14 community service centers and distributed to 280 low-income vulnerable households in the district.
Vice President Sunhyun Park said, "I hope this sharing event becomes an opportunity to convey warmth to neighbors in need within the community," adding, "We will continue to practice sharing based on trust and cooperation."
