Yeoncheon-gun Holds Performance Presentation for Military Personnel Collaboration Regional Win-Win Project
Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Kim Deok-hyun) announced on the 20th that it held the ‘Military Personnel Collaboration Regional Win-Win Project Performance Presentation’ at the Yeoncheon Sureul Art Hall Grand Theater on the 16th.

View original imageThe Military Personnel Collaboration Regional Win-Win Project is a program conducted since October targeting soldiers of the 5th Division, aiming to analyze local community issues in Yeoncheon-gun and discover and promote customized policies and innovative ideas based on a collaboration framework among government, military, and civilians.
On the day, with the participation of about 150 military personnel including Kim Deok-hyun, Governor of Yeoncheon-gun, and the division commander, presentations were held on four excellent proposals from military personnel to select one grand prize team, one excellence award team, and two encouragement award teams.
The grand prize was awarded to ‘Operating a City Tour Bus to Promote Yeoncheon Beneficially,’ the excellence award to ‘Establishing an Online Platform for Agricultural Specialties,’ and the encouragement awards to ‘Measures to Revitalize Small Business Owners Using SNS’ and ‘Redevelopment Project of Unused Military Bases in the Region,’ respectively.
Yeoncheon-gun plans to utilize the discovered ideas from military personnel to build a regional economic development model through review by relevant departments and continuously create opportunities for participation and communication through collaboration with the military.
