View original imageGwangju Nambu Fire Station (Chief Park Chunghoon) announced on the 19th that it recently visited Gwangju Christian Hospital, the regional emergency medical center in Nam-gu, to hold a meeting aimed at strengthening emergency response during the Lunar New Year holiday. The meeting, held on the 17th, was organized to reinforce cooperation between institutions in order to minimize gaps in emergency medical services during the holiday period.
The main topics discussed included: ▲Measures to improve the emergency medical system, such as cooperation in treating emergency patients during the holiday ▲Requests for active cooperation in accepting patients transported by ambulance ▲Enhancing communication and sharing information among emergency medical centers ▲Listening to difficulties faced by hospital and emergency personnel ▲Promoting the 119 Safety Call registration, spreading proper ambulance use culture, and raising public awareness through various publicity strategies.
Park Chunghoon, Chief of Gwangju Nambu Fire Station, said, "I hope this meeting will further solidify the organic cooperation between fire departments and medical institutions," adding, "We will do our utmost to respond quickly to any emergency situations that may occur during the Lunar New Year holiday."
