The Joint Investigation Headquarters (Joint HQ), which is investigating the '12·3 Emergency Martial Law Incident,' is expected to begin executing the second arrest warrant for President Yoon Seok-yeol as early as tomorrow dawn.
According to the police on the 14th, the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Division (PCC) and the command units of the Seoul, Southern Gyeonggi, Northern Gyeonggi, and Incheon Criminal Mobile Squads held their third meeting regarding the execution of the arrest warrant at 10 a.m. that day.
The meeting reportedly lasted about 1 hour and 20 minutes. It is known that they discussed detailed plans to enter the fortified Hannam-dong residence, which is secured with barricades and barbed wire.
The earliest likely time to begin executing the arrest warrant is 5 a.m. on the 15th. The police have divided tasks among arrest and search teams, suppression teams, and obstacle removal teams. More than 1,000 detectives and investigators are being deployed, prepared for a prolonged operation lasting up to 2 to 3 days.
