Pukyong National University Holds Workshop on Current University Issues: 'Liberal Arts and ESG'
Over 50 University Officials Attend Workshop
National Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-hoon) held a workshop for university officials from January 7 to 8 at Tongyeong RCE Sejatrashup to discuss and promote major university issues.
After President Bae Sang-hoon's inauguration, Pukyong National University held its first workshop for officials, with over 50 participants including university officers. They discussed and communicated on key university issues such as the full implementation of the Free Major Selection System starting this year, the RISE Project, and the Glocal University 30 Project.
Workshop participants consulted on the university's development direction by reviewing cooperation plans with the national government and local governments for major project promotion, as well as response strategies by each department.
Additionally, an educational session titled "Sustainable Development and Our Practical Tasks" was conducted by Lee Eon-ji, head of the education project team at Tongyeong RCE Sejatrashup, exploring ESG implementation plans for the university's sustainable development.

President Bae Sang-hoon stated, "Through this workshop, we will share and communicate ways for our university to contribute to the nation together with the local community, further expand communication among members, and strive for the university's sustainable development."
