Yangsan City Holds Launch Ceremony and Safety Training for Senior Job Projects in Seochang-dong and Wondong-myeon
On the 10th, Seochang-dong and Wondong-myeon in Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, held the '2025 Senior Job Project Launch Ceremony and Safety Education' for participants of the senior job project.
At the launch ceremony, the overall project was explained, including the importance of the senior job project and the roles of the participants. Safety accident prevention and traffic safety rules education were conducted to ensure that the elderly can perform their job activities safely.
After the launch ceremony, participants spent time communicating with each other by drafting agreements and discussing activity zones by group.
Participants in the senior job project will engage in environmental maintenance activities along local roads and village alleys from January to November, striving to create clean and pleasant street environments and improve their villages.

Min Mikyung, head of Seochang-dong, said, "I hope that through participation in the senior job project, the elderly will lead healthy and meaningful later lives," and added, "Since the safety and health of the elderly are the top priorities, I ask that you strictly follow safety rules during your activities."
Kim Misun, head of Wondong-myeon, said, "During the activity period, we prioritize the safety of the elderly and ask that you carry out activities without accidents," and added, "I hope the senior job project helps you lead a lively and healthy later life."
