View original imageThe Agricultural Byproduct Safe Disposal Support Project is a program that supports the shredding of agricultural byproducts such as soybeans, sesame, perilla, chili peppers, and corn remaining in the fields after farming activities without burning them, allowing these materials to be returned to the soil as compost and nutrients. It is expected to greatly contribute to environmental protection and soil environment improvement by preventing forest fires and reducing fine dust. Yeoncheon-gun will provide support for shredding agricultural byproducts and offer free rental of branch shredders to elderly farmers, vulnerable groups, and general farmers who face difficulties due to labor shortages through this project.
Applications for the Agricultural Byproduct Safe Disposal Support Project can be submitted by visiting the Administrative Welfare Center (Eup/Myeon Office), and applications for free rental of branch shredders can be made at the nearest Agricultural Machinery Rental Center.
