Strengthening Fall Accident Prevention Training in Winter... Full Effort to Create a Safe Cheongdo
Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongbuk, is focusing its administrative efforts on creating a "Safe Cheongdo" to welcome the new year 2025.
On the 6th, Cheongdo-gun announced that it conducted regular safety training to prevent winter safety accidents for public employees and fixed-term workers.
This training was planned to recognize potential hazards caused by frequent snowfall and icy roads in winter in advance and to prevent accidents.
The training, themed "Prevention of Fall Accidents," was conducted based on practical cases regarding the main causes and prevention methods, focusing on precautions to be taken at work sites and the correct use of safety equipment.
In particular, supervisors were provided with practical guidance methods so that they could recognize the importance of worker safety management and carry out direct preventive activities on site.
Kim Dong-gi, Deputy Governor of Cheongdo, said, "Since fall accidents frequently occur during the winter season, safety training to prevent them is more important than anything else." He added, "We plan to continue systematic training and management with the safety of workers as the top priority."
