Previously, the program supported couples preparing for pregnancy (including common-law and prospective couples) once in their lifetime, providing 130,000 KRW for women (ovarian function test, gynecological ultrasound) and 50,000 KRW for men (semen analysis).
Starting this year, essential fertility test fees will be supported once per cycle, up to a maximum of three times in a lifetime, for men and women aged 20 to 49, including unmarried individuals.
The life cycle is classified as under 29 years old (1st cycle), 30 to 34 years old (2nd cycle), and 35 to 49 years old (3rd cycle).
Applications can be made by visiting the public health center in charge of the resident registration address or through online application via e-Health Center.
