Vision AI offers features such as 'Click to Search,' which finds and delivers the information users want with a single click even while watching content; 'Real-time Translation,' which provides subtitles of foreign language content translated into Korean in real time; and 'Generative Backgrounds,' which creates images reflecting users' tastes and preferences. Additionally, it supports functions for user convenience such as 'Home Insight,' which analyzes users' lifestyle patterns, device usage history, and home conditions to provide real-time notifications and timely support, and 'Family & Pet Care,' which allows monitoring the status of family members or pets.
Samsung Electronics also unveiled the personalized AI 'Vision AI Companion' for the first time.
Vision AI Companion instantly visualizes users' interests and questions. For example, when a user requests 'travel destination suggestions,' it provides a personalized experience that includes recommendations for restaurants, schedules, and artworks.
Samsung’s Vision AI-applied features such as 'Click to Search,' 'Real-time Translation,' the smart AI companion 'Bolly,' and the Smart Monitor M9 equipped with Microsoft Copilot service received the CES Innovation Award.
Samsung Electronics plans to provide AI services through open partnerships with various global AI companies, starting with Microsoft and Google. In particular, Samsung and Microsoft will collaborate by integrating the 'Copilot' service into the Smart Monitor M9 to search for information related to the content being viewed and offer content recommendations. Samsung also plans to introduce various AI services, including Copilot, to future TV products.
