Pyeongtaek City "Let's Revive Consumption"... 20% Temporary Benefit on Local Currency
Lunar New Year Incentive 10% + Cashback 10% Applied
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 2nd that it will temporarily expand the benefits of the local currency 'Pyeongtaek Sarang Card' to support the recovery of the local economy and small business owners.
Accordingly, Pyeongtaek Sarang Card users will receive a total benefit of 20%, including a 10% holiday incentive and a 10% consumer support cashback.
The consumer support cashback will be provided from the 5th to consumers who pay with the Pyeongtaek Sarang Card, amounting to 10% of the payment, up to a maximum of 50,000 KRW per person per month. The cashback will be automatically used first on the next payment, and its validity period is six months.
For the incentive discount system, a 10% incentive applies during holidays and a 6% incentive applies regularly. The purchase limit is a total of 700,000 KRW (500,000 KRW for card payments, 200,000 KRW for paper vouchers), and until the budget is exhausted, consumers can receive benefits of up to 120,000 KRW in January and up to 92,000 KRW in February.
