Namyangju City to Maintain 10% Incentive on Namyangju Love Gift Certificates Next Year
Full Effort to Revive the People’s Economy by Raising the Recharge Limit Until March
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 30th that it will maintain the incentive rate of the Namyangju Sarang Gift Certificate at 10% on a regular basis in 2025.
Despite the uncertain government budget support for local currency, the city decided to maintain the incentive rate to promote local consumption and increase sales for small business owners.
In addition, from January to March 2025, the city will raise the recharge limit of the Namyangju Sarang Gift Certificate from the existing 300,000 won to 500,000 won. Through this, the city plans to actively stimulate consumption and revitalize the local economy.
The Namyangju Sarang Gift Certificate has driven over 260 billion won in local consumption this year, contributing to the revitalization of neighborhood markets and supporting household consumption, earning high satisfaction from citizens. Based on these achievements, the local consumption effect is expected to exceed 300 billion won in 2025.
A city official said, “We expect local consumption to increase and neighborhood markets to become more vibrant through the expansion of the Namyangju Sarang Gift Certificate,” adding, “We will continue to expand policies that practically help citizens’ lives and restore the local economy.”
