Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Attends Patjuk Sharing Event with Buddhist Association in Gongdeok-dong
On the 21st, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the Gongdeok-dong Community Center where the 'Dongji Red Bean Porridge Neighbor Sharing Event' was held to celebrate Dongji.
The event was organized by the Gongdeok-dong Buddhist Association (President Kim Ok-hee) to invite neighbors in need of local attention and care, serving Dongji red bean porridge to share warm affection.
The red bean porridge, carefully prepared and cooked by the Gongdeok-dong Buddhist Association from the day before, became a hearty meal that filled the hearts of about 100 elderly residents in the area that day.
