Seoul Campus, Regular Admission Group B... 100% Based on CSAT Scores
Sangmyung University will select a total of 1,051 students, including those outside the quota, in the regular admissions for the 2025 academic year. A total of 242 students will be admitted to the Seoul and Cheonan campuses through the Liberal Arts major.
The Seoul campus, which is recruiting 561 students, will admit new students only in the regular admissions category B. Within the quota, all 489 students will be selected based 100% on their CSAT scores. Eligibility requirements are "those who have CSAT scores for the subjects reflected by the desired department for the 2025 academic year, and who are high school graduates (or expected graduates) or recognized as having equivalent academic ability under Article 98 of the Enforcement Decree of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act."
However, the Department of National Security Studies, which has separate eligibility requirements, will select students from the rollover of unfilled early admission spots, so applicants must check the final confirmed number of admissions through the announcements before applying. Outside the quota, 52 students from rural areas and 20 graduates from specialized high schools will be admitted, each based 100% on CSAT scores.
The Cheonan campus will select a total of 490 students in categories A and B. Within the quota in category A, 6 students will be admitted to the Photography and Media major based 100% on CSAT scores. In category B within the quota, 354 students will be admitted through the CSAT track and 130 through the practical skills track. Majors conducting practical skills admissions include the Department of Design, Film and Media Major (Acting), Theater Major (Acting), Stage Art Major, Digital Comics and Media Major, AI Media Content Major, and the Department of Sports Convergence Liberal Arts (Sports Convergence Department).
Sangmyung University has newly established Liberal Arts majors by academic field to recruit new students.
