[Photo] Jeju International Airport Conducts Snow Removal Drill in Preparation for Heavy Snowfall
In the early morning of the 19th, snow removal training was conducted on the taxiway of Jeju International Airport in preparation for heavy snowfall. A total of 10 large snow removal vehicles, including tow-type snowplows, integrated snowplows, liquid de-icing spray trucks, and high-speed blowers, were deployed for the training. Jeju Airport, which sees the highest number of passengers during the winter season, has significantly expanded its snow removal equipment and established systematic response measures since the abnormal operations caused by record-breaking snowfall in 2016. Currently, it possesses the largest scale of snow removal equipment among domestic airports except for Incheon Airport. Photo by Airport Photographers Group
