View original imageAt around 7:31 a.m. on the 9th, a fire broke out on a city bus running on the road in front of a department store in Gyedong, Jinju-si, Gyeongnam.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, the fire was completely extinguished by the dispatched firefighters at around 7:47 a.m., but half of the city bus was burned, causing property damage estimated by the fire station at about 121 million won.
At the time of the fire, three passengers and the driver on the bus all evacuated safely, and there were no casualties.
The bus driver, Mr. A, who started operating around 6 a.m., reportedly stopped the vehicle and attempted to extinguish the fire himself with a fire extinguisher when smoke was seen coming from the left front wheel of the driver's seat while carrying passengers.
