Gyeonggi-do's "National Unity Kimchi-Making Event" on the 3rd... Delivered to 6 Food Banks
On the 3rd, Gyeonggi Province held the 'National Integration Kimchi-Making Event with Gyeonggi Residents' at the old Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office in Paldal-gu.
Held in collaboration with the Gyeonggi Volunteer Center, this event was organized to promote volunteer activities and spread a spirit of sharing through kimchi-making in celebration of 'Volunteer Day' on the 5th of this month.

View original imageThrough this event, Gyeonggi Province delivered 5,000 kg of kimchi to six food banks in four cities/counties: Suwon, Siheung, Yongin, and Hwaseong. The beneficiaries of the food banks are individuals selected through each city/county’s identification of recipients, including basic livelihood security recipients, lower-income groups, and households in urgent financial crisis.

Last year, Gyeonggi Province supported vulnerable groups within the province by providing 1,000 kg of kimchi through the National Integration Kimchi-Making Event of the 'Warmth Sharing Campaign' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
