Uijeongbu-si, Join the '100-Day Love Relay Baton Passing' to Share Neighborly Love Together
Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 3rd that it is conducting the neighborly love sharing campaign, "100-Day Love Relay Baton Passing," throughout Uijeongbu.
The 100-Day Love Relay Baton Passing is the city's representative sharing campaign carried out through voluntary donations from citizens. It has been promoted since 2006 under a business agreement between the city and the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea.
This year, warm support from individuals, groups, and institutions has continued, starting with Mayor Kim Dong-geun's donation of 1 million won on October 21.
The campaign will continue until January 28, 2025, and individuals, institutions, and companies wishing to participate can visit or call the Welfare Policy Division at City Hall, the Regional Welfare Support Division, or the Dong Community Center.
The collected donations will be delivered to neighbors in need within the district, social welfare facilities, and organizations in cooperation with the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea.
