Kia's Global Sales Reach 260,000 Units in November... Best-Selling Model is 'Sportage'
Kia announced on the 2nd that it sold 262,426 units globally in November, an increase of 0.8% compared to the same month last year.
Based on wholesale sales, 48,015 units were sold domestically and 213,835 units overseas, representing a 4.0% decrease domestically and a 1.9% increase overseas compared to the same period last year.
By model, the Sportage was the best-selling vehicle in the global market with 46,104 units sold, followed by the Seltos with 24,312 units and the Sorento with 23,906 units.
Passenger cars sold 13,300 units, while RVs (recreational vehicles) sold 31,509 units. The best-selling vehicle domestically last month was the Sorento, with 10,434 units sold.
In the commercial segment, the Bongo III sold 3,083 units, and including buses, a total of 3,206 units were sold.
Kia's overseas sales in November recorded 213,835 units, a 1.9% increase compared to the same month last year. Overseas, the Sportage was the top-selling model with 41,871 units sold, followed by the Seltos with 19,425 units and the Sonet with 16,888 units.
Special vehicles sold a total of 576 units, with 177 units sold domestically and 399 units overseas.

A Kia official stated, "Starting this month, we will actively sell the improved Sportage model and the Carnival hybrid model to enhance sales momentum. Next year, we plan to strengthen our electric vehicle lineup with the EV4 and EV5 and expand sales by entering the pickup market with the Tasman."
