Dong-Eui University Selects 12 Teams for '2024 Student Startup Promising Teams 300+'
Growth Track Team 7 and Preliminary Track Team 5 Ministry of Education Minister Certification
Twelve student teams from Dong-Eui University (President Han Suhwan) were finally selected for the Ministry of Education’s ‘2024 Student Startup Promising Teams 300+’ program.
The Dong-Eui University Link 3.0 Project Group (Director Lee Imgeon) and the Startup Education Center (Director Lee Hyunseop) held the ‘2024 Student Startup Promising Teams 300+ Ministry of Education Minister Certification Award Ceremony’ on the 21st at the Startup Village in the Information Engineering Building, awarding certificates from the Minister of Education to 12 selected teams, including 7 teams in the Growth Track and 5 teams in the Preliminary Track.
‘Student Startup Promising Teams 300+’ is a competition that supports selected teams with basic startup education and customized business advancement training to discover and nurture talent in the startup field. This year, a total of 60 teams in the Leap Track, 250 teams in the Growth Track, and 100 teams in the Preliminary Track were finally selected from elementary, middle, high schools, and universities nationwide.
In the Growth Track category, Dong-Eui University’s selected teams include Calf Team’s ‘Smart IoT management sensor for breeding exotic pets (ornamental fish) applying AI technology,’ RECS Team’s ‘AI-based mobile manipulator coastal waste collection robot,’ Team Dingdong’s ‘Dingdong Chart, the first step outside school for Korean Medicine students,’ Creative Factory Team’s ‘Heavy metal adsorption filter using fallen leaves,’ NAL Team’s ‘Transparent dental prosthesis with sterilization and self-cleaning functions,’ Bestar Team’s ‘Unique indoor wood, air-purifying mood lamp,’ and RTN Team’s ‘Virtual rehab vision, an early rehabilitation app after knee surgery using virtual reality technology.’
In the Preliminary Track category, the selected teams are DECA Team’s ‘Jamona, a drowsy driving prevention system,’ PONY Team’s ‘Rate plan information,’ Insight Team’s ‘InCycle, a bicycle activation service platform improving riding experience,’ APCO Team’s ‘Functional cosmetics using coffee grounds extract,’ and Dawin Team’s ‘Sunchangpo Yukunpi sunscreen.’
Notably, the NAL Team was selected among the final 30 teams in the 2024 Student Startup Festival Growth Track product exhibition judging and participated in the ‘2024 Industry-Academia Cooperation EXPO Student Startup Promising Teams 300+ Product Exhibition’ held at BEXCO, Busan, from November 6 to 8.
