Jangseong-gun Announces 'Torch Relay Ideas' Contest Until the 13th of Next Month
Jangseong-gun is holding a contest for 'Torch Relay Ideas' until the 13th of next month to pray for the successful hosting of the 2025 Jeonnam Sports Festival and Jeonnam Disabled Sports Festival and to provide attractions.
According to the county on the 28th, the contest is open to Jangseong residents and public officials, and applications can be submitted by mail, email, or in person to the Jeonnam Sports Festival coordinator in Jangseong-gun.
The selection criteria include ▲reflection of Jangseong-gun's characteristics ▲originality that differentiates from existing torch relays ▲attention-grabbing and ripple effects of the idea ▲completeness and concreteness of the idea.
The county plans to select a total of 41 entries, awarding 1 grand prize of 500,000 KRW, 5 excellence prizes of 300,000 KRW each, 15 encouragement prizes of 100,000 KRW each, and 20 effort prizes of 50,000 KRW each in the form of Jangseong Love Gift Certificates.

The results will be announced next month after first and second round evaluations, and the selected ideas will be reflected in the torch relay event held from April 17, the day before the opening ceremony of the Jeonnam Sports Festival, until the day of the event next year.
