The government has been providing a service since September 30th that allows the general-use seal certificate to be issued for free on Government24 in order to enhance public convenience, simplify administrative procedures, and reduce costs as part of digital administrative innovation.

However, with the implementation of this service, general-use seals?except those for submission to courts and financial institutions?can now be issued for free from anywhere.
However, seal certificates issued for submission to courts and financial institutions must still be obtained in person at the nearest city or county office or administrative welfare center, as before.
