Manifesto Implementation Headquarters Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Network Announcement
High Scores in Pledge Fulfillment and Communication with Citizens in All Categories
Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Chang-su) was selected as the best institution in the ‘Public Pledge Implementation Disclosure Evaluation of Local Governments and Offices of Education in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam’ conducted for the first time this year by the Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Network.
The Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Network conducted a comprehensive evaluation of 43 local governments and offices of education in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions (excluding Geumjeong-gu Office and Geoje City Hall) from the 18th to the 20th.
The evaluation criteria consisted of three categories and 15 detailed items: pledge implementation (100 points), budget management (100 points), and communication (200 points).
As a result of the evaluation, the Ulsan Office of Education received high scores in all evaluation categories, including pledge implementation, budget execution, and communication with citizens, and was selected as the best institution.
This is interpreted as the result of the Ulsan Office of Education’s active promotion of pledges, efficient budget management, and efforts to strengthen communication with citizens.
The Ulsan Office of Education provides pledge-related materials divided into five areas on the Open Superintendent’s Office ‘Chang-su’s Promise’ on its website: Ulsan education and pledges, pledge implementation plans, pledge implementation status, pledge establishment and management, and participation and communication.
In particular, it provides detailed information from the four major policy directions?future-prepared responsible education, student-tailored safe education, relationship-centered empathetic education, and field-support open administration?to annual pledge implementation plans, pledge ledger, implementation status by detailed projects, citizen evaluation group composition and activities, and visual representations of pledges.
