Gyeonggi-do, Excellence Evaluation in Housing Administration for Cities and Counties... Grand Prize to Yongin-si
Yongin City received the grand prize in Gyeonggi Province's 'Excellent Housing Administration City and County Evaluation' held this year.
Gyeonggi Province previously evaluated all 31 cities and counties in the province on overall housing-related tasks, including ▲housing supply and quality improvement ▲activation of apartment management ▲enhancement of residential welfare ▲implementation of housing administration policies.
Yongin City, which won the grand prize, operated new policies such as the ‘Let's Create Together! Our Neighborhood Healthy Apartment’ project to create healthy living spaces at the apartment unit level, and the ‘Yongin Youth Smart Housing Academy’ providing housing legal services for young people vulnerable to real estate information.
They also promoted a policy supporting the installation of three types of rooftop evacuation facilities (evacuation safety tape, rooftop exit guide signs, and fences preventing deviation from evacuation routes) to enable safe evacuation to the rooftop in case of fires in apartment complexes.
Excellent policy cases from major cities and counties in Gyeonggi Province included ▲Namyangju City's On(warm) Residential Welfare Service supporting the relocation process of rental housing for vulnerable groups ▲Suwon City's ‘Share House CON’ for youth preparing for independence ▲Bucheon City's rental housing supporting youth employment and entrepreneurship ▲Pyeongtaek City's visiting accompaniment support project assisting rental housing move-ins.
