View original image'Plogging' is a compound word from the Swedish 'plocka upp' meaning 'to pick up' and the English 'jogging,' referring to the act of picking up trash while jogging as a social contribution activity for environmental protection.
This year’s Plogging Day activity was carried out to practice environmental protection and ESG management values by walking around the Nammaeji area, picking up trash, and practicing environmental protection through waste separation work.
Gyeongbuk TP has been striving to spread ESG management values by publishing the 'Sustainable Management Practice Report' annually since establishing the 'Gyeongbuk Technopark Sustainable Management Promotion Strategy' in August 2022.
In addition to Plogging Day activities, the organization practices corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ESG management through various annual activities such as helping farm labor, wildfire suppression and flood recovery support, sharing briquettes of love, and fundraising.
