View original imageAbout 30 students and faculty members from the College of Future Lifelong Education Convergence participated in the event, which focused on various activities such as origami and color play for the elderly at the Saimdang Daycare Welfare Center, receiving enthusiastic responses from the seniors.
‘Brain Tok Tok Awakener’ is a program voluntarily planned and participated in by students and faculty members affiliated with the College of Future Lifelong Education Convergence to realize social value in connection with the local community. Through this activity, they practiced elderly welfare and shared a warm-hearted time with the elderly in the community. In particular, although the students are adult learners currently employed at companies, they adjusted their work schedules and took personal time for this activity, demonstrating their passion for volunteering and sharing.
Students from the College of Future Lifelong Education Convergence who participated in the volunteer activity said, “Although we participated in the volunteer work with a burden as it was related to our major, seeing the seniors enjoying themselves made us feel glad to have participated. We felt pride in our major and found it joyful and meaningful to be able to serve the local community.”
