Yeongdeok-gun Signs Fundraising Agreement with Private Platform 'Wigib' for Hometown Love Donation Program
First Among Yeongnam Region Local Governments, Collaboration with Private Platforms Boosts Fundraising Momentum
Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, signed a 'Hometown Love Donation Fundraising Contract' with the social enterprise 'Gonggammanse' on the 21st, becoming the first local government in the Yeongnam region to do so in order to activate fundraising for the Hometown Love Donation System.
Through this fundraising contract, Yeongdeok-gun will post and promote regional information, return gift and fund project information, along with services such as donation reception and return gift selection provided on the existing 'Hometown Love e-um' site, via 'Wegive,' a private platform for the Hometown Love Donation System operated by Gonggammanse.
With this, Yeongdeok-gun becomes the eighth nationwide to sign a contract with Wegive, following Yanggu-gun in Gangwon, Dong-gu in Gwangju, Yeongam-gun and Gokseong-gun in Jeonnam, Buyeo-gun in Chungnam, Iksan-gun in Jeonbuk, and Sinan-gun in Jeonnam, aiming to fully focus on donation fundraising based on the experience and know-how accumulated by the private platform.
