Hanseo University Wins Encouragement Award at 'Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation EXPO'
Participation in Video Content Contest
Hanseo University won an award at the Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Expo video content contest.
Hanseo University's LINC 3.0 Project Group participated in the '2024 Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation EXPO,' hosted by the Ministry of Education and organized by the National Research Foundation of Korea.
The event was held for three days from the 6th to the 8th at the 2nd Exhibition Hall of BEXCO in Busan under the theme "Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation, Solutions for Regional Innovation Designing the Future." The event showcased excellent achievements in industry-academia-research cooperation and offered forums, seminars, capstone design competitions, video content contests, the Korean University Drone Soccer Competition, and a national social venture contest for university students addressing community issues.
Hanseo University participated in the industry-academia-linked curriculum video content contest with two works. Park Junbeom, a student in the Department of Industrial Design, received the LINC 3.0 Project Group Council Chairman Award for his work titled "Dreaming of Becoming Korea's Dyson, Challenging the World," and Jeong Kihoon, a student in the Department of Aircraft Mechanical Engineering, received the same award for his work titled "Big Data Vehicle Management Service Motor Mate." The awarded works were used as exhibition content at the Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation EXPO.

Kim Gitae, Director of the LINC 3.0 Education Support Center, stated, "We will actively support practical industry-academia-linked outcomes by designing, operating, and managing curricula that directly participate in industry-academia-research cooperation, such as the field training semester system, capstone design, and entrepreneurship education courses."
