Pohang City to Implement Special Traffic Measures on the 14th for College Scholastic Ability Test Preparation
130 Police Officers Deployed at Major Intersections
33 Vehicles Mobilized for Emergency Transport Support
Pohang City will implement special traffic measures to ensure smooth traffic flow for the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) scheduled for the 14th.
The CSAT will be held from 8:40 AM to 5:45 PM on the 14th, with 4,330 examinees taking the test at 12 testing centers in the Pohang area.
On the day of the exam, starting from 6:30 AM, the city will deploy about 130 traffic personnel, including police officers and exemplary drivers, around 12 testing centers such as Pohang High School and at major intersections. They will enforce traffic control measures such as restricting entry and exit within 200 meters of the test sites, guiding parking, and directing detours at nearby intersections.
Additionally, a total of 33 emergency transport vehicles, including police patrol cars and exemplary taxis, will be provided to transport examinees who are close to the 8:10 AM entry deadline free of charge.
A Pohang city official stated, “We ask examinees to confirm their test locations and depart with ample time on the CSAT day. We also request active cooperation from citizens to ensure that examinees can take the exam without inconvenience, and the city will do its best to prevent any traffic issues.”
