View original imageDaejeon Technopark announced on the 6th that it received ministerial commendations from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Ministry of Science and ICT at government-hosted events held in Chuncheon and Busan, respectively.
Daejeon TP was awarded the Minister of SMEs and Startups Commendation at the 2nd Regional Innovation Expo held at Songam Sports Town in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, in recognition of its contributions to regional innovation.
The institution was recognized for its efforts in fostering six key strategic industries in Daejeon, building an ecosystem for future new industries, enhancing the competitiveness of local companies through customized, company-centered support projects, and contributing to management and regional innovation.
On the same day, at the ‘2024 Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Expo’ held at BEXCO in Busan, Daejeon TP received the Minister of Science and ICT Institutional Commendation for its contributions to the development of Daejeon’s research industry, including fostering the Daejeon Research Industry Promotion Complex, strengthening the competitiveness of research equipment companies, and revitalizing the research industry ecosystem.
Kim Wooyeon, President of Daejeon TP, said, “Following our achievement of the highest grade in the management performance evaluation, our institution has now received ministerial commendations from two ministries. We will continue to focus on fostering future core strategic industries and take the lead in making Daejeon a world-class economic city that leads the future of Korea.”
